Our terminal servers have a way to print remotely - even to PDF. However, you do not use your normal printer. The terminal servers have a special printer called TS Print PDF (printer). Once you print to this printer, you will be asked to either save the file or email it to yourself.

When you save the file, you will have the option of choosing a mapped drive (network share) or saving the file on the either under your Documents Library or your Desktop.

Below are a few steps that might immediately solve your problem.

How to print to PDF in most applications on a terminal server.
1. When you print something, a window generally appears asking what printer you want to use, how many copies to make, what paper size, etc.
2. When this happens, from the Name dropdown select the TS Print PDF
3. Print
4. When a window appears, select either to save the PDF or email it

How to set my GP printer to print PDFs.
1. Please log into the terminal server you normally use (The icons on your desktop for SVR-TERM4 or SVR-TERM5).
2. Please log into GP.

GP can be accessed from an icon on your desktop or the start menu.

If there is no icon on your desktop, click:

Start > All Programs > Scroll Down > Select Microsoft Dynamics > GP 2010 > GP

Or, click: Start > and type "GP" in the run field and select GP

3. Once logged in, click on the GP menu in the Upper right
4. Select Printer Setup. A window appears.
5. Use the Name drop down to choose the TS Print PDF.
6. Print
7. When a window appears, select either to save the PDF or email it

Now anything in GP on that terminal server should print PDF.
